Eastern Ontario bow season opens Oct 1....after a decline in the deer popualtion over the past couple of years...looks like the young deer numbers are...

He wasin OtherI think this man ran into one of the best apples in the barrel.....he was very fortunate that this ended the way it did....no charges and perhaps no deer...remember...

the decoy hunter replied to your still hunting into the wind,,when a deer up ahead of you begins to blow,w hats some of your tricks to get within range nowin OtherYikes.....time for damage control.....drop to the ground and wait perhaps if the deer has not locked on to you it might be curious.....try a soft grunt...

I have yet to use one as I always want to have my bow ready but amin Otherhanging onto the bow can tire muscle groups used in shooting.....if you practice carrying your bow or change hands it will lessen the impact.....nothing...

I told him that we spook deerin OtherIt is a unfortunate part of the hunt when you jump/spook a deer....other opportunities await in the deer woods and most of us have had the misfortune...

In the province of Ontario it is illegal.....although the practice does exist here as well
