    I read your article on field dressing made easy in the Sept. 09' issue and wondered if by hanging your deer from a tree limb (when available) might make field dressing even easier. Hang the deer head first, make the usual incisions, cut the windpipe and let gravity take its course.

    It could possibly make gutting easier, but i wouldnt use a tree.They have the tendancy to snap when you least expect. Not to mention you'll need a hand to haul it up off the ground.Much safer to use a meat pole or gambrel back at camp, and save your back, use a quad to lift it off the ground.
