I recently was given a Bear Whitetail 2 compound bow, and i was wondering what are the best acessories for a beginner-bowhunter(arrows,broadheads etc.)on a budget?

a lot of us started w the same bow, its important to match youre arrows to youre draw weight and lenght , aluminum arrows are fine for starters /a flipper arrow rest is cheap but effective for finger shooters . u said inexpensive.make sure your lmbs are tuned to same tightness /arrow nock is center and arrow rest also in alignment/string peep site will help a lot/ as will a stablizer/practice with quietness in mind as any thing loose may cause u nite mares later. find an archery club or shop and learn as much as u can about the simple but complex world of bowhunting .good luck

That is a good bow, I had one at least 20 years ago or more. Good luck.

i too have been given a white-tail 2 and love it. I am fully confident with this bow. First weekend out last week and I didnt get a deer but I did get a wild hog.
I recomend a whisker biscut for the arrow rest. Its fantastic! I did have it tuned by a pro. I also added 2 crossbow silencers to my bow. They were recomended.

They were a great bow in their day. I won many titles with mine, Including the Australian IFAA title in 1992 when I was only a teen. I still have the bow today. I recommend the best arrow rest you can afford, second to nothing... you MUST have a good arrow rest or anything else wont matter.
