Spent the last 3 days over around Springfield so of course I had to check out Bass Pro a few times. Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium, NRA museum of guns, Archery hall of Fame, the fine gun room, the fish tanks etc..... I always get a kick out of the place. Picked up some 38sp and a few souvenir type things.(prefer eating other places). Not a bad way to do Easter I guess.😀
Was looking at a Howa mini in 6.5 Grendel, intriguing 🤔

If I was ever in the area I’d be interested in the NRA Museum. My wife was actually born in Springfield while her father was attending college there, they have relatives in the area but aren’t exactly close knit.

Day off work today, about 6” of heavy, wet spring snow fell last night and there are trees down all over. Couldn’t make it in the regular way and when I called the boss he said it wasn’t going to be worth coming in as we wouldn’t be getting anywhere. Even had to drive across our lawn as there’s a big limb blocking the driveway. Will have to take care of that later on.

Fitch: the firearm museum is interesting but be forewarned, it ain't all that big. Lots more to see there all in one location though. Fairly nice weather around here, mowed again yesterday, should hits low 80's this weekend. Sure it will drop back down to upper60's though as it has been a cooler spring.
Hopefully the fallen limbs are oak or maple and you'll have nice firewood this fall. (glass 1/2 full).
Looks like it's getting a little wild west over on the F&S questions. My my my.
