  • More Monday Music

PH suggested we start a new thread and I don’t see a reason not to, so here we go.

Since it’s Monday I’ll start it off on the mellow side. Might even have to go pour a little Wild Turkey to go with it.

    Jackson Browne

      Last night karaoke for PigHuntress:

      "Sexy Eyes" by Dr. Hook

      "Reminiscing" by Little River Band

      "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles

"Is It A Crime" by Sade

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last night karaoke songs for me:

"Wait A Million Years" by The Grass Roots

"Merry Christmas (To The One I Used To Know) by Kelly Clarkson - but of course sang in my voice, a little more tenor than I usually do... this song got good reception and I got compliments, but it caused a couple of the women to cry so I may not perform it again

"Mack The Knife" by Louie Armstrong

      "Lady Love" by Lou Rawls

Here's another easy listening tune. "Miracles" by Jefferson Starship. It's from the Red Octopus album and I first had it on 8-track back in the 70's.

Because of the length, we only perform the duet at home. We sang if for a friend Saturday night and watching us, she said she could really see how much we're into each other. Took me a lot of practice to learn my part. It's probably my favorite love song.

Had no idea who did that. Once again learned something new, thanks.

My boss is a Jethro Tull fan. Sometimes has it playing in the shop.

First heard Jethro Tull I think, 50 years ago. A piece of bigger stuff.

80's techno pop. Better than disco?
