This is actually the last deer I killed.
I was in a blind down on Red River.
I could see the river out the left side of the blind.
Not sure just exactly WHERE he came from, but he ended up in front of me, broad side, 60 yards away.
He dropped at the shot.
This is my first attempt at a skull mount. A friend allowed me to use his "Buck Boiler".
Not bad for a first attempt.

Stumbled onto some "barn wood" the kid had stuck back. First attempt at a display.
Whaddya think?
The wood was used as lath for a tin roof.
It is rough sawn 1×6. It is actually 6" wide by 1" thick and still has the sawmill marks.
They are 18 feet long!
