Well, yesterday was a 14-hour one for me. I drove 3.5 hours one-way to a papermill, had meetings and looked at equipment on 6 different projects and then drove home. Not much time left for posting here.

After I left the mill, I did work in a quick stop at a gun shop in that little town. They had COVID protocols in place such as barrier tape to keep people from leaning on the handgun case. And, 6-ft spacing at the check-out register.

I bought a $15 camo gun sling and 100 rounds of CCI .22lr subsonic segmented 40gr. Their ammo inventory was way down and they only had two boxes of .300BLK. An old redneck geezer was looking at the .300BLK, saying he needed some for hunting. But he was complaining about the price. It was Fiocchi 125gr SST, 25 rounds for about $1 per shot.

I suggested he buy a box anyways and just use it for hunting and not plinking since you can't hardly find any 300BLK anywhere. He followed my advice.
Guys were complaining 9mm solids are over $1 per round. Plus the mail order stores are all large quantities.

Have you put the boat up or are you still getting out? How was the fishing this year overall?
Best Walleye fishing in Lake Erie in years. State estimates there are 160 million adult walleye in Lake Erie. Not a good day to be on the Lake - waves going to 12'
