You have a toaster with two slots that toasts one side of each slice of bread at a time, and it takes one minute to do so.
If you want to make three pieces of toast, what is the least amount of time you need to toast them on both sides?

You would need to toast two for 1 minute. Take out 1 and put the untoasted slice in for 1 minute. Then remove the second slice and continue to toast the third slice for 1minute.

BHR - You've got the sequence right, but a bit sketchy on the details.
Actually, you put two slices of bread in the toaster, toasting one side of each.
Then flip one of them over, take one of them out and put the completely untoasted slice in its place.
Finally, take out the toasted slice and put the two half-toasted slices in the toaster for one minute and you are done.
