Can you name a sport in which the ball is always in possession of the team on defense, and the offensive team can score without touching the ball?

Depending on what your terminology of touching is, if it is not directly by hands, I would say baseball !

Correct. And I suppose cricket would also fit in that category.

Yes, cricket would also qualify. However, there are only 5-6 people in the whole world that even understand that game !!

I've got the same question from my dad, haha. You sure it's cricket?

Yes, it's definitely cricket. I can't remember something else where the ball is always in possession of the team on defense, and the offensive team can score without touching the ball. Also, it might sound funny - a game with the ball, where you don't need to touch the ball to score. Except for auto goal in soccer, hah. I wonder if such sports events are held solely in stadiums? Can't they just pick some picturesque place on aperfectspace.com or similar sites? I think it would significantly increase the interest to the game. Personally, I wouldn't mind a game in front of some old castle.
