  • U.S. Presidents.

The 22nd and 24th presidents of the U.S. were born from the same father and mother.
    However, they are not brothers.
    How is that possible?
    No peeking.

    ‘They’ are the same person.

Foul! Deliberate use of incorrect pronoun and plural with intent to mislead. That's worse than the "rainbow" riddle, 99.

        BHR - Correct again.
Matt - You've got me there, but intent to mislead is part of the game.

Well, yes, but that one's especially bad. A proper riddle misleads with cleverly manipulated, not blatantly incorrect, language. But hey -- if we've got time and resources to sit around and talk riddles, our lives must be pretty good overall!

Matt - I think I could have avoided that criticism if I had said "...born from the same father and mother, but are not brothers."
I would also have needed to avoid the plural in the word "presidents."
"The 22nd president and the 24th president."
