6P, I've used the tarsal gland cut from a deer to have a hard stopping point for deer. Wearing rubber gloves, I cut the glands off a buck and put them in a zip-lock bag, then in the freezer. On the day of the hunt, I place one 20 yards from my tree stand, still not touching it with my hands. It works! The deer can't resist walking up to it and sniffing.Attached Files
