Thanks Gary for trying to keep my hopes up, but at my age, it is about as difficult as keeping something else up, and I do not know which is the most important anymore ! Maybe all hope is gone when that decision is not easily made !!

I think brother Rich would like the NFL if Michigan's Detroit Lions were a Playoff contender. Buckshottoo would be happy also. 🤣
Some day Rich some day. 😩🏆

More than 44 years after his final game in 1971, Starr’s quarterback rating remains the highest in NFL postseason history (104.8 rating). He threw 15 touchdowns and 1,753 yards in his 10 postseason games, and Starr’s three interceptions are the fewest in NFL postseason history among quarterbacks with at least 150 attempts."

Being that I'm not much of a sports fan, I have a different view of Bart Starr. He is known around Birmingham as one who had a gentle spirit and a ready smile. He and his wife Cherry are known for the charity work and for the businesses they had in the area. It was always a treat seeing Bart at one of the local events or passing by in the airport.
