I wouldnt think so, squirrels usually mess with you and can tell deer when you are coming into the woods, so they are your traitors most of the time but on other occasions they can also tell you when a deer is coming into the woods. i just get out really early in the morning so the squirels dont know im out there yet. then its more likely that they'll leave you alone and tell you when theres a deer coming into your area.

Squirrel hunting is a good time to go scouting for deer. In OK the season is May 15 to January 31 so there is plenty of opportunity to be out scouting. The more you are out when the deer don't feel pressured, they may not be as alarmed when you get ready for deer season, at least in my experience.

LOL! I don't think squirrels and deer talk with one another!

I'm of the belief that it's best to stay away from your hottest deer hunting areas as much as possible. Thus, I limit my squirrel hunting to the not so great spots.

Really ? I just took a quick glance at the 6.8 and on paper it sure looks like my Remington 7mmMag. Not a whiskers difference. I have heard some complain...

This is actually the last deer I killed.
I was in a blind down on Red River.
I could see the river out the left side of the blind.
