Has anybody accidentally been denied on a NICS background ?

Not actually denied, but I did have a slow response once.
It was a Saturday and I didn't get the gun until Monday.

Yes, many years ago. Someone with same first and last name as me had a record and I was denied. They had a different address, and were 15 years younger than me. It took over two weeks to get resolved and this was over a long gun. On the flip side, this same person was held by police in a local small town. When the police checked on him, my name and background came up. The police became uneasy with the arrest and let him go.

Tree, My Lifetime License in New York is a 2 digit number _ _ _ _ _ _ XX. You get a Gold back tag and a credit card type license. The tags and info all come in the mail every year. Best investment I have made. Since I got it they added small game so I have hunt, fish and small game. Have to buy archery if I do that.
