Huldah then courageously pointed out that all laws made by Congress, any restrictions imposed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, any restrictions made by executive order, and all Supreme Court decisions that restrict firearms are unconstitutional. They are unconstitutional because there is no authority to do so.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. A small amount of knowledge can mislead people into thinking that they are more expert than they really are.
Article I. deals with the legislative powers of Congress.
Article II. deals with the executive powers of the President.
Article III. deals with the judicial power of the Supreme Court.

Although I am personally opposed to the expansion of the federal government, I am telling it like it is, and not the way it ought to be.

I wish Cox and Kettler the best of luck in their appeal.
BTW, I believe the NFA was passed in response to the St. Valentine's Day massacre, and was not an attempt by the government to enslave the American people. JMO.

This was written in 2008, before the Heller decision.

I think the best reason to oppose universal background checks is that it would include private sales, and eventually require universal registration for its enforcement.

I can only hope that these injustices will be addressed and corrected by the Trump administration.

"... Dem and Republican support, NRA losing support on this issue. ..."

jimbo, I know you're at camp, but you need to know that your "presumption" that the NRA is losing support is the same "presumption" that every body thought Trump would lose the election!
The MSM is leading the gen-pop astray hoping to influence the outcome...again!

If each state had its own NICS system with only the names of its own residents, how effective do you think that would be?

Having gotten concealed carry in every state, we're now pushing for national reciprocity .
