      The females can't decide which way to go?

      Difference in size is probably the easiest indicator.

        Yes, she is usually bigger. Another way is her beak ends all the way to the back edge of her eye. His beak only goes past the eye about half way. Also, he looks like he is using eye liner with a darker ring around the eye.
        The Florida camera is on and the pair have 2 eggs. Unfortunately they are being attacked by an owl almost every night. If that owl keep it up I think he will be toast. That pair is Romeo and Juliet. The camera for the Wash D.C. pair won't be on until Jan 1. They do already have their nest ready. They are Mr. President and The First Lady. 3rd or 4th year in this nest.
