        Some years ago Gun Shows dealers got a batch of AK's that were full auto and sold hundreds of them. ATF had their hands full trying to find them. I think a lot are still out there.
        A restriction on an accessory to increase the rate of fire of a semi is o.k.. The problem for the Government is how to enforce it - they can't. Just like there are thousands of AR's in NY and Conn after they were banned. They are still out there and they can't find them.

          Bad laws breed disrespect for the law in general.
          After WWII, there were hundreds of thousands of liberated Lugers, Walthers, Berettas and Japanese Nambus brought home by returning G.I.'s as war trophies
          Everybody and his brother had one.
          In "strong" gun law states, they could not be made legal.
          Nobody cared.
