I figured it out! Clearly, PETA has bought out Field and Stream! What other possible reason could there be, for making a hunting and fishing website so inhospitable to hunters and fishermen?

Now if I was going to be paranoid about things being manipulated I'd say that they've made a big push to get a lot of new content on there, and have held it here, so at the end of a couple of weeks they can point at the relative increases and decreases in traffic.

I hear that, too. But I think those things could have been remedied without the uglification.

I'm just generally griping about the website changes. I find it really sterile and uninviting, annoying to navigate, and in general, no improvement at all.
