You've got a good eye Seth. I'm a semi-pro photographer, and a big mistake I see a lot of beginners make is not having the eyes in focus when taking pictures of animals or birds. Even if no other part of the animal is in focus, the eyes must be for it to be a great photo. Just something to keep in mind going forward. Like I said though, you're on the right track, so just keep at it and you'll get better. If you don't mind saying, where were those landscapes taken? That looks like some beautiful country.

Cape cod MA, Bristol ME, Lowell MA, and the White Mountains in NH (at Echo Lake State Park).
