Has any on else heard about this new tick-bourne disease that deer are getting? What is that all about? Will it effect humans if we eat those deer?

    Which disease are you talking about? Can't really comment if I don't know what disease.

      I remember reading about a deer borne illness related the black legged tick. Is this the one you mean? I think those diseases are transmitted from getting bitten by an infected tick. I don't know that it can be transmitted by eating infected deer. Then again though, I would not consume a deer that acts sick either way.

        I just heard of a new tick that's not familiar to northeastern states called the "Lone Star" tick. I don't fully understand it but I think it causes your body to not break down the natural sugars in red meats and gives you an allergic reaction, sometimes taking up to 8 hours for symptoms. To not be able to eat red meat would be absolutely devastating to my life style.

          This disease is called Lone Star tick if anyone eating that infected deer then it first affected your heart and blood vessels. This disease kill deer in few days if not cured before time. http://www.design21sdn.com/people/435801/
