My dad got a nice palmated 9 point buck yesterday evening(Bow opener here in Wisconsin). I saw 2 does and my parent saw three others, probably a bachelor group.( We saw a bachelor group on the way home) Has anyone else got a deer yet.

Yesterday I passed up a 50 yard shot on a buck(I counted 4 points on the right antler, but I know there were more than that...didn't have time to count the left side at all). I can make a 50 yard shot, but since it was opening day I decided not to take the shot(I do not even know if I would of had time to shoot - would of had to draw before I even saw the deer, count points real fast and shoot because he was only in the open for about 5 seconds). This morning I hunted for about 3 hours and I did not see anything(had to pick up cousin from school at 11), but my neighbors son killed a big 12 point about 500 yards from where I was set up at around 9am. Who knows, maybe it was the same deer I saw opening day.
