    The well-fed cat is in better condition to make the kills and they hunt out of instinct, not necessarily hunger.

      Too many variables. For the sake of the question though I will go with the fat cat. It had to eat(find food) to get fat in the first place.

          unless the fat cat was like mine who gets super fat in the winter while hes super skinny in the summer and he eats more in the summer but he burns it off chasing stuff!

            Not enough information to make an accurate decision. If I had to say anyway though, I would go with the fat (i.e., healthier) cat.
