What year did remington start making their triggers safer on the model 700? Because i just got one several months ago.

    WoW really? The triggers on Rem. 700's have always been safe. The only reason they became unsafe on a few idiots guns was because those idiots tried to do trigger work on their guns without knowing what they were doing. This has already been proven. Research it yourself. Don't believe everything on the liberal news channels............

    If your Remington is new the trigger should be describedd in the owner's manual.

    Im not sure, but it had been in the last couple of years. If you are not sure, there are some good after market trigers, Jewell, and timney are some good ones.
