Has anyone else had any trouble with almighty RAGE broadheads? I have lost 2 deer the past 2 years with them with good shot placement and penetration.

We've had tons of issues with them not expanding right in our local hunting club, in fact often the only time we find deer killed with them is after they've been dead a week. Sometimes they open right but then bend so bad they barely cut. I never have problems with fixed blade Innerlocs or Muzzys

I had a little buck duck my shot this past season. Found the arrow in the dirt and ran a sharpener over the blades. Went back to that spot the next morning and killed a 6 point.Same broadhead. Wasnt a great shot but that rage did its job and dropped him in about 80 yards.

I have used both the 3 and 2 blade configurations of "Rage". I have lost 2 nice bucks, and 1 doe with them. One of the bucks I hit in the left shoulder and only got about 3 inches of penetration. I have equally killed 3 deer with them. My oppinion, I don't use them anymore. I found the "Carbon Express"
mechanicals from Walmart are half the price and twice as effective. I have yet to lose a deer with them nor has my hunting partner. Between us we have killed 14 deer in the last 2 years with the "Carbon Express" with penetrator tip and each one had gone down with-in 40 yards. Only one time did I not get a complete pass through with them and that's only because it was standing against a tree when the arrow exited.
