    Well....Its not a spike, but I saw a 6 point whos brow tines were atleast 3" taller than his rack....they had to of been 12" each. Wish he was legal, would of made a really cool mount. As far as a regular spike I really havent seen many big ones, maybe 6" max?

      with our prime genetics in Florida my friend Adam killed a buck with fourteen inch "handlebar" spikes

        Seen none. But my friend saw a mainframe spike with a 16 inch spread in 2009. Each mainframe as long as a normal mature buck's antlers. The next year he killed the buck as an 8 pointer with a 18 inch spread, the biggest deer shot on our hunting property.

          In the local gun shop on the wall is a spike with 12in horns, in the woods about 8-10in.

            I've never seen a particularly large one myself, but we have trail cam photos of two separate deer that had 14 to 16 inch spikes. Their bodies were also much larger and more mature-looking than other year-and-a half old bucks we had photos of at the same time, so we've always thought that they had to be older deer that were horribly stunted for some reason.
