Is it to late to start baiting for deer? If not what should I use?

Make sure it is legal in your state; I say this because in Missouri it is illegal to bait deer.
As long as it is legal where you hunt I suppose it would actually be a great time to bait deer. As winter sets in deer are looking for food to bulk up, so bait could really draw them in.

I've never baited for deer as it is illegal in Indiana but my buddy (in Ohio, legal to bait on private land) put out some mineral licks and sack corn and got action at all of them. Code blue is a bait, dont know how well it works or what it is but I've seen it at Gander Mountain.
