    It sure will, its one of the most proven calibers of all time. Pick up a reloading manual and do some reading, compare to other calibers, its a very good round to shoot.

    It's a great all around gun for most North American big game except I wouldn't use it for Grizzles in heavy brush. If you have an shoulder problem or you are elderly they make a low recoil load for it except it's a lot more expensive. They give you less powder and charge you more (go figure). It's the same with 410 shotgun shells, smaller shell more expensive.

    Yes, a 30/06 can kill animals bigger than deer. People use them for elk, moose, pretty much any big game animal in North America.
