Saw 2-3 huge 8-10 pt bucks tonight pestering a doe. Saw 15 deer in total just tonight! Hoping to get one of the bucks. Whats the most deer you seen and the biggest deer youve seen? The seek phase of the rut has started here. Good Luck.

I dont remember how many years ago it was, but one archery season I saw atleast 50 deer(three big groups) in one day without ever getting off a shot......which is unheard of here. I've gone two weeks during rifle season in the same area and seen maybe three deer total and only gotten a running shot. The biggest deer I ever saw was huge. I was on big hill about 3/4 way up in a little hole kinda thing where im guessing a tree got uprooted. Was just relaxing/looking ahead at field. All of a sudden this giant deer sticks his head up 5 feet infront of me(thing was massive points everywhere). I got up thinking running shot...never saw the thing it disappeared. Never heard it coming up the hill or as it ran away.

It's nearly a month until the gun season opens here and the rut won't really kick off until January.
