The whitetail buck I'm after has gone to a nocturnal pattern after two weeks of him moving an hour before sunset. Would a morning sit be the best way to catch him traveling back past my tree stand?

That would certainly be worth a try. Hunting deer can be a frustrating challenge---just when you think you have them figured out, they change. Good luck.

I'd be in your stand about 60-90 min. before sunrise. If he moves, I believe day break is going to be your best shot.

I have seen nocturnal pattern deer get hungery around noon or 1 pm. the morning he will be settling in to rest. Most hunters tend to leave the woods by 10 am and the deer get up for a "midnight snack", may not be right for your deer, but I have seen it happen many times.

So far, I've built a "bee vacuum" and a "swarm trap".
When I deploy the trap this spring, I'll need at least one hive....I hope!...
