What is the difference between pushing a buck or putting a drive on with some buddies? Which would you think is a higher probability of working?

    My own definitions:
Drive- 1 or more guys that follow deer towards the hunter without regard to the deers speed.
Push- 1 or more guys trying to get the deer to WALK past the standers. Very effective in archery.

Smitty18 has a good definition. I think a drive has a better chance of influencing deer to go in a particular direction. You can sort of combine the two by having the drivers go slowly and quietly. The deer will still move out ahead of them, but not necessarily at high speed.

IN good push ,the driver actually still hunts his way towards the standers, so the chances for a pusher is higher than in a traditional drive/ while the benefits mentioned by SMITTY AND PINE ARE BETTER APPLIED
