I have a great stand setup and I was wondering how much is too much pressure on it. I hunted the stand twice in 2 weeks and have seen deer on both. The wind has been perfect and I'm a scent control freak but I don't want to over hunt it. So how much is too much?

Sounds to me like you are doing it about right. A lot depends on whether you can get in and out of the stand without spooking deer.

Piney is correct. It depends on the amount of disturbance you create going to and from and while you are in stand. Sometimes you can scare deer you never see. In general twice a week is good but I have sat in the same stand everyday for a week with good luck.

Doing what you are doing want spook em as long as your careful. A man I know killed three big bucks in three consecutive days on public land from the same stand. went in and got out careful

I actually just read another article online about this. They more or less reiterated the same thing. Carelessness is what will make or break the ability to continuously hunt from that same stand... or not.

Best of luck to you this season!!
