Check out the line up from Mossberg, they are not as fancy as the others but they work, and work well. Mine has for years.

I suggest you consider a pump action shotgun that can also provide quick follow up shots. This will give you a wider selection from which to choose. Typically, manufacturers of good pump shotguns offer combo deals that supply extra barrels making them more versatile. The same shotgun becomes your upland and migratory bird gun after the deer hunt. These guns are a real bargain. Remington, Mossberg... the list is long.

I know it's not an autoloader, but I've heard pretty good things about the bolt-action slug guns from savage. They're under your price mark too so you'd have extra money for a nice scope.

Remington 11-87 using Hornady SST 2-3/4" slugs drops them in their tracks

I live in a state where you can only hunt with shotgun. I will be planning to hunt deer. I currently own a 12 H & R single shot deer gun and I'm comfortable with shooting deer out to 100 yards with no problem. I'm looking for a 12 gague rifled barrel semiauto with very good accuracy out to at least 150 yards. I'm looking for a semi because at times I have a chance to take more than one deer at at a time. Any suggestions? I'm looking to spent around $600.
