ok,so we all know when treestand hunting the higher we go the less likely or scent will betray our positions,also the angle becomes more of a factor,all things being equal wind conditions,terrain,understory canopy. what do you say is the optimum height to hunt from a treestand ?

I prefer 15-18 feet, if I get any higher than that I start to freak out a bit (I don't do too well with heights), and if I get lower I start to have deer busting me even if I sit perfectly still. I've never had much problem at those heights though, unless I do something dumb like move when the deer are looking at me.
