I have a hunting camp with no electricity. I would like to find a trail camera that I could use for deer before and during deer hunting season and then use the rest of the year as a security camera. Does any manufacturer have a trail camera with a flash that is invisible to deer and humans? Rick Repp. NY

I have not tried them, but I would recommend one of the new "black flash" cameras now on the market, rather than the regular Infrared. I know Reconyx and Bushnell make them, and maybe others. The plain old Infrared may be better for not spooking animals, but I know for a fact that it is very easy for people to see at night if you happen to be looking in it's general direction, that sudden ominous-looking red glow really gets your attention!
