I have a hunting camp with no electricity. I would like to find a trail camera that I could use for deer before and during deer hunting season and then use the rest of the year as a security camera. Does any manufacturer have a trail camera with a flash that is invisible to deer and humans? Rick Repp. NY

IR (Infra Red) All manufacturers should make them now.

You are definitely right that IR is the best way to go! The Flash is very dull and slow so its not nearly as noticeable

I have not tried them, but I would recommend one of the new "black flash" cameras now on the market, rather than the regular Infrared. I know Reconyx and Bushnell make them, and maybe others. The plain old Infrared may be better for not spooking animals, but I know for a fact that it is very easy for people to see at night if you happen to be looking in it's general direction, that sudden ominous-looking red glow really gets your attention!

No electric hunting camps the best kind. Keeps all the young'ems off their gadgets. At least after the batteries run out.lol

So far, I've built a "bee vacuum" and a "swarm trap".
When I deploy the trap this spring, I'll need at least one hive....I hope!...
