In Arkansas it's between the 10th and 24th of every month between October -until February, the hottest being the middle!

In SW PA it usually starts around the end of October and heats up the fist couple weeks of November. But I have seen bucks with there nose to the ground like a beagle into mid December.

If u live in the northern hemisphere the main rut starts between November 1-15. Believe me, I have read a book on the rut written by a long time biologist n hunter who has bagged many record bucks, plus outdoor life even wrote that the rut starts around the same time ad I have said n back it up with facts that WEATHER DOES NOT PLAY A ROLE ON STARTING THE RUT!!, the day light hours do. Like pinewoods said, the main rut in the south starts in late winter. Pre rut-October n post rut mid December

Depends on where you are. Down here, it doesn't really start until January. In the north it may be as early as October. Even knowing the general times for your area it's hard to predict the exact times because of weather, etc.
