How about all the reloaders out there, whats your favorite caliber and bullet combo for whitetail?

I have never had a re-load fail me once, and i have shot plenty of them. I have however had a factory load fail.

I have no idea why you feel that re-loads have no place in the Deer Woods. My 165 gr. Sierra boat tails have worked everytime on elk.

150 grain Hornady SST reloads in my 30-06 or a 120 grain Sierra for my 264 Win Mag. Treestand, in over 30 years I have never had a reload fail me and I have never shot a deer with a factory load.

the deer in my Food plot are 80yd out,when hit thay drop like a Bag full of 10#Hammers..Factory Ammo goes Bang every time for that HUNT(BUCK) of a life time. Re-loading is fun for a range gun,JMO re-loads have No place in the Deer Woods!

You would have a hard time making me switch back to anything else. They open quickly, make a large wound channel and a fine exit wound to track those deer that don't drop right there. No lead fragments in the burger, either. They are worth the extra expense.

Pineywoods, how do the TTSX bullets do on deer? I have been thinking of trying them I use nosler Accubonds now.

My reloading book is up at my hunting camp, so I can't give you the exact amount of RL-15 powder in my 7mm-08 load, but it's pushing a 120 gr. Barnes TTSX, Rem. brass and Win. primer.
