Hey Gang, Saturday, April 28th, We spotted a fawn road kill on I-30 near Lonsdale, Ar., a suburb 25+/- miles south, southwest, of Little Rock, Ar. It appeared to be a week or so old, by guess. With gestation around 200 days, this seemed to me a bit early, what do you all think?

I was out fishing yesterday (june 3rd) and saw a doe run across a field followed by two tiny fawns. Now that I think about it that is probably the earliest I have ever seen a fawn out and about. (This is in NJ BTW). There's a lot of coyote action in the area as well so maybe a yote scared them out and that's why they ran across and open field.
