Do you think scent blocker is nessesary for deer hunting?

Not necessary, but helpful. You can't depend on it, so the best thing is to watch the wind.

I do not, but I do use the scent discs when I hunt. I have found them to be more economical, highly effective and more user friendly than hosing myself down with a spray bottle every time before I head off to hunt.

I have always worn scent blocker more so out of luck/superstition. Does that mean that I never get busted? Heck no!! The most important thing you can do is watch the wind and have patience. If the wind isn't right then don't hunt that stand. I like to store all my hunting clothes in a bag of leaves for the year. What better blocker is there than mother nature...plus its free!

Save your money and play the wind or if your anything like myself just hunt and enjoy! I have taken deer every year since I 1st started hunting and I wear carharts, and just last year spent $5 on spray and still don't know if it works or not!

I use it but you still need to be aware of wind direction and use it to your advantage.
