My brother and I swapped to the 1 3/4" Grim Reaper 100gr expandables. We have used them on several deer, and they are nothing short of amazing. I can see that penetration might be limited with lighter bows, but we both shoot high speed (chrono'd 305 fps and 338 fps) bows and had clean pass throughs on all of the deer we've shot. I have yet to see a blade break off on bone, even though twice we've nicked the shoulder with one of the blades. It simply cut right through the bone. Huge, gaping holes, and a blood trail a blind man could follow. Recovery has been within about 50 yards on the deer we've shot.
