    When making jerky out of venison. Is it best to freeze the meat for 30 days to kill any parasites or can I just go ahead and make the jerky. I will be making it in a dehydrator. Thanks

    Freezing doen't actually kill bacteria or parasites. It merely inhibits their reproduction. So start making it. Just be sure to put the dehydrator on its highest setting, and try to refrain from "tasting" it before its fully dehydrated.
