Hey Everyone, I'm from northern Michigan and do a lot of hunting on some property my family owns in the Upper Pennisula. It's about 20 miles north of Escanaba. I was just up there last weekend and the buck activity seems really low! After quite a bit of scouting I've only found 2 small rubs and 0 scrapes on our 800+ acres! We have our 20 bucks on our trail cams...what's going on? Has anyone else been noticing this?

800 acres is a big area, could it be you just have not ran across more scrapes and rubs yet?

Nice a Uper, my grandmother lives in Muskegon but I've been up there on vacation one summer quite a few years ago. I dunno what's going on there, maybe they have just changed their patterns from what you were used to seeing, try looking in new spots.

Dan Ekstrom and I have been looking for a shooter mule deer buck on public land.

For this area, Tuesday was the last day.
