how do you make a racoon snare?

A racoon is different than most animals because it has a thumb. It will reach into a trap and grab the bait, holding it in the hand. When they try to pull it out, they will trip a reverse type trigger. This lets you set traps that will not catch a cat or dog, but get the racoon every time. I build my own, but they are basicly copies of a comercial trap. Google dog proof coon traps. I got mine from Flemmings. You can get them from any good trapper & fur supply.
