    Look around, most manufacturers have models with sights.

      I guess so many buyers were taking the sights off, they decided to put the guns out that way.

        I figured the manufacturers are saving some manufacturing costs then making up more when they sell the sights back to you.

          Why sell just a gun when you can sell a gun, scope and rings? It's basic economics for the gun shops.

          I understand what you are saying. I did prefer open sights until my eyes went bad.

            Most prefer scoped rifles, but sights are still being made on some models.
