Im thinking about buying a red-dot scope(which i know little about) for my Rem.870 to use for deer and turkey, but i also use it to shoot clays where i would want it off my gun. my question is how easy is this kind of scope to mount and unmount, and how hard is it to sight in?

Well, I would suggest marking where you mount the scope. And also, since it is a shotgun it doesn't necessarily have to be pin-point accurate nor can it be since there is more than one projectile being launched from the gun.
