I think my favorite story is of my grandfather bear hunting when he was younger. He has an old 25-20 Bolt action and was tracking a black bear that he had wounded. He came to a large brush pile and walked all around it and couldn't find any tracks coming out, so he got down on all fours and crawled into the bruch pile after the bear...luckly when he got in there he found that the bear had expired, but it still took some guts to head in there in the first place. There are other stories told about one of my grandfather's best friends who would blow the doors off any professional hunter these days. He shot his first deer when he was 12 years old walking home from school 12pointer weighed 225, and has shot probably 50 bear, and 30 deer over 200#, all in the state of Vermont by the way.Comment
