    puma i'll try to help ya. when u make a comment or reply to an answer try to be drief . to the point and straight with youre convictions..as hunters from different sections of the country or world for that matter we won't always agree on things , so try to visualise how things could and are different all over ,check out bear hunters question on hunting big game with hounds and you mite see my point, in the mean time i'll give u a one up for a str8 question , see if it helps

      We have TONS of gear in the Outdoor Life gear closet and plan on doling it out next week to the highest point gainer to date. There are lots of guys (gals) in the mix in terms of points. A winner will be declared on Thursday of next week! Newsletter recipients will be the first to hear the news!

        There's various ways to earn points but some of that has changed over the last 9 years (2009 to 2018). One way is to ask a question and you get points for that and for all the answers. Another way is to make comments. As far as I know, gear testing by site members is a thing of the past. So, the points have become practically meaningless.

          Huh, I wonder if this ever worked out for him. Anyone clicking because they want to learn about points is free to follow the link below.

          I feel pretty confident that the gear testing is long dead in its grave
