i have been watching this huge buck for two or three yrs now and just cant seem to get on top of him. he has two main trials on each i have set up on but he will alway go on the oppisite one im on. i have done every thing from decoys scents baits so i was wondering if you guys have any tips or advice to help me get this monster.

If you are just concentrating on the two main trails-try and mix it up by setting up either beyond or before your old sites.Look for natural funnels of timber or overgrown transition areas that are narrow and act as staging areas for travel between points A and B.There are many natural features such as beaver floods-bodies of water that can influence movement of any deer simply by their design and can effectively cut an area to a more defined travel route.(wooded creeks-gullies any feature that provides a corridor)So take a second look at your hunting area and see if you can visualize any of these natural "highways" that exist and then look for potential sites for a ground blind or tree stand.

Decoy hunter is on the right track.A simple change may be all that it takes.Goggle earth has saved me a lot of steps in finding these natural funnels.Good luck with the big one.

You got good advice above. What I would add is that you could be doing something to alert him of your presence. Maybe your setup is too close to his bedding area & he hears you coming in. Also consider the wind--make sure you have a downwind setup for any wind direction.

Cut the hide from the inside of a dead deers leg where it urinates on itself and tie it to a rope (about 3 feet)and walk to your stand dragging it. The buck will be following the scent and hopefully will walk straight to your stand.
