Not personal experience, yet my brother has. It's a beautiful gun and is HIGHLY effective for Whitetail. That gun, along with the Marlin 336 in 30-30 caliber are my favorite guns. I'm a 30 caliber, lever action kind of guy

I love mine. Popped a doe last year at 50 yards no problem. Hole out the back side about like a half dollar. Bought mine just because I love lever actions, and talked the wife into letting me pick out my own anniversary present. Did not realize what I was getting at the time. I hunt the northeastern Oklahoma woods where 100 yards is a long shot. The more research I do on it the more I realize it's capabilties. They are claiming 300 yards plus no problem. Have not put a scope on it yet but it is a posibilty. Not much more kick than my Marlin 336C that I bought over 30 years ago.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with 30 caliber!

I looked closely at these when they were released. But now I'm on the .300 BLK bandwagon
