What is the difference in shot placement, head on shot, for a meat hog and a trophy hog.

For a quick drop on a meat hog, aim for the head or neck. You don't want them running and heating up the meat. For a trophy mount you need to wait for a sideways shot and aim for the base of the neck or shoulder. Their hearts are low in the chest and are further forward than a deer's.
